The Veteran’s Benefit Act of 2003 establishes a procurement program for service-disabled veteran-owned small business and provides additional authority to set aside procurements exclusively for service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses if there is a reasonable expectation that two or more SDVOSBs would bid and award could be made at a reasonable price. It also permits contracting officers to make sole source contract awards If only one SDVOSB can satisfy the requirement and the anticipated award value will not exceed $5 million for manufacturing NAICS codes and $3 million for other NAICS codes.

Aegis is licensed in all fifty states and the District of Columbia, has an A.M. Best Financial Strength Rating of “A” Excellent and is approved by the United States Department of Treasury for single bond amounts up to $3,950,000.
